Universal Voltage and Current Controller with Microprocessor and Relay Outputs (e.g. for Variacs)

1. Special Properties
The universal voltage and current controller operates with a microprocessor clocked at 20 MHz, which compares analog actual and target values via a 10-bit A/D converter and activates the corresponding relay. Simultaneous regulation of voltage and current is possible.
The controller features three potential-free outputs:
- Relay output “Increase”
- Relay output “Decrease”
- Relay output “Overcurrent Shutdown”
The switching status of the relays is indicated by LEDs.
The current controller is configured for a shunt in the positive branch. Upon request, the board can also be supplied for a shunt in the negative branch.
If the measurement lines to the shunt are interrupted, the current monitoring triggers an immediate shutdown.
