1. Special Properties
The IS 02B control set is a complete microprocessor-based firing system on a single PCB for thyristor-based power supplies. It supports the operation of half-controlled bridges, center-tap configurations, and single-phase controllers.
By setting jumper J3, the module can be switched from short-pulse mode “K” to long-pulse mode “L”, enabling W1C operation for inductive loads in addition to resistive loads.
The set can also operate between two line conductors. The firing system features two outputs with high isolation voltages, allowing an operating nominal voltage of up to 700 V rms for power semiconductors. Appropriate clearance and creepage distances are provided.
A corresponding controller can be mounted piggyback onto this module, resulting in a compact, ready-to-connect control unit. For easy installation, all inputs and outputs are routed to Phoenix connectors.
