1. Special Properties
The control unit ISR 02 L/K is a complete firing and control system for power supplies, integrated on a single PCB. It includes two isolated gate drive circuits for thyristors, current and voltage controllers, an electronic power-on delay, ramp-up functionality, and a selector for internal setpoints or external control signals from a potentiometer or computer.
The long-pulse mode (ISR 02L) is suitable for controlling and adjusting inductive loads and delivers two long pulses of up to 9.5 ms duration to ensure reliable operation of the power controller.
The short-pulse mode (ISR 02K), similar to ISR 02L, is designed for triggering half-controlled bridges and center-tap configurations using 3.3 ms pulses—but with increased gate current amplitude.
